When it was launched in 1977, the reference 4100 was the third iteration of the AP’s iconic sports watch and the first to feature a centre seconds hand and at 35mm, was aimed at those that believed the Jumbo was too large.
Today we have an incredible example with tropical dial that has turned a crazy shade of orange from its original blue hue.
The mid-size Royal Oak packs a big punch that we love – you can read more about them ! This 35mm reference 4100 is in yellow gold and is in outstanding condition with strong lines on the case having benefitted from a recent polish.
The Stern-made blue petit tapisserie dial has turned the most insane shade of orange…it really is incredible and hyper rare to see such a thing.
The dial has no lume and diamonds at the hours. The bracelet is in good condition and would fit a wrist size up to 19cm. The watch has the correct calibre 2123, a modified Jaeger LeCoultre movement, which has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
You will not see a Royal Oak like this again we are pretty sure this is unique and we urge you to be quick…this is a very desirable watch!
